Hi Bill, What a great job you and your committee did in
putting on such a fun reunion for the class of 55. I really liked the
location and the size of the room, it made mingling very easy. The
music was fun and not too loud. Loved Shelly's words
and Sharon's story. Thank you very much for everything, the web page is
such fun too. The couple on left in this picture are Rob and Annie's

Hi Bill, wanted to thank
you for your encouragement to attend and being so welcoming, so thank you very
much. I am really glad I made it and it was very gratifying to chat with as
many of the grads I was able to. In many cases it was a matter of connecting
rather then reconnecting, especially, with the ladies some of whom I was afraid
to even say Hi to in school. Everyone was so friendly and warm I just had a
very very enjoyable time. It was really interesting catching up, how things had
and are going and where they had been and are now. Didn't get to talk with
everyone but enjoyed very much talking to those I was able to meet. A lovely
group of people, that has a bond of friendship that exists and has grown over
the years and I guess will stay in tact and I guess that’s what reunions
are about. Thank you very much Bill, I found you one of the easy ones to talk
to in school and I find that you still have that friendly ease. It must come
with being a great skip. Thank YOU

Hi Bill,
On behalf of Sandra and myself, may I say what a great evening we had? You and your committee did a wonderful job, you are to be congratulated. We will download our pictures and see what we might have to send along.
When you have a moment could you pass on to me Eric (Mouse) Brown's e-mail address, I would like to send him a note, I had lost contact for some 50 years.
All the very best,
Bob Lee (& Sandra Davies in ’55)
To Bill, Maureen and everyone on the Magee 55 Committee:
Thank you for organizing a terrific evening. It seems that with each
time we get together more stories flow...and our
memories (or
imaginations) just keep
getting better and better!!
Cheers,

Hi Bill and Nancy
Just wanted to thank you for all your work on the Grad reunion. Carl said he had the best time ever, got to talk with a lot of old friends and was really glad we went. He is looking forward to the 60th. Got a big job ahead of you!!
Many thanks again to you and your committee for all your efforts. It was a great night for grads of Magee 55.

Hi Bill -
Yes, it was a great weekend. Special thanks to you and to the committee who made it all happen - really a great job and we appreciate all the work you did to make it such a success. We look forward to the 60th!
A couple of suggestions for next time:
* a larger room (so that some of us in wheel chairs 5 years from now can get around easier!)
* a room with more sound absorption (so the growing number of us with hearing problems can hear more easily)
* have name tags for all attendees
I took about 50 pictures. After I delete the out-of-focus ones and others not worth keeping, I'll still have a lot. If you want me to send the majority, let me know if you have a recommendation on how to do this. Otherwise, I could just pick my best "baker's dozen" and send them in.
Thanks again.

Congrats to the organizers......that may have been the best yet.
The shadows are getting longer now and my brain is turning to mush but I am still able to appreciate that life has given me a unique gift.......a very amazing group of classmates!
Soldier on everyone. Hope to see you in 2015.
All the best,
Mike DuMoulin
Dear Bill---That reunion was just the best ever!!! I got the
impression that everyone there really wanted to be there and loved the
interaction with each other with genuine interest. It was a love fest.
The venue was perfect and it didn’t even matter that is was wet. No one cared. The food was very good and the service great. Thanks to the committee for a job well done. The comments were all positive.
You did an admiral job of organizing and I for one cant thank you enough. Above and beyond the call of duty!!
We are all entwined forever and lucky to be such good friends and especially at this stage of our lives. The bond is cemented. I look forward to all of us being together next time.
Thank you –Lorraine (Thorpe in ’55)
Hi
Bill:
Thank you
for a great party on Saturday, as I had only been at Magee for 1
1/2 years I
do not know everybody as well as so many of you who have gone to school for
years
together.
Thanks Trudy (Birch in
’55)
Hi Web Guy
We just got back from our Alaska vacation this week. I
intended to write you IMMEDIATELY but came down with a virus almost immediately
and have spent the past few days too aching and tired to even sit at a computer
long enough to think.
I did want to thank you for the truly magnificent effort
that the committee, and especially you, put into making our gala reunion such a
happy and successful event.
Perhaps some of us are not computer savvy enough to realize
the risks of letting our e mail address to onto an open list on our web site. But it seems to
me that not too many Nigerian orphans or other types of scam
artists nor Trojan virus infiltrators would be lurking about Magee 55.
(If anyone wants to steal my identity they can take the
whole shabang: the cat litter pans awaiting change, the daily
phone calls of folks with truly horrific stories of abandoned & abused
animals needing rescue, my arthritis,
etc.)
Would it save you time and trouble to set up a list that one
could click on to access for those who are willing to provide their e mail addresses on our
Magee 55? Then people wouldn't have to bother you asking you to look them up
and be the go between. At least think about it.
I hope Vancouver has warmed up some. If not, perhaps we
could ship you some surpless degrees of temperature.
Ours is forecast to be 94 F. this week.
Thank you, Bill, for the great time and all the happy
memories you have provided us.
Shelley
